"Aegir" (AY-gir) means sea in Old Norse. In mythology, he was a personification of the ocean — a giant who lived with his wife in a magnificent hall beneath the waves. This artwork is named after the giant for its paradox of light and darkness. The song which goes along with it is called "Cornfield Chase" by Dorian Marko.

3 × 3 ft, acrylic on canvas.
